As
aulas de xadrez têm sido bastante produtivas durante a semana na Escola
Antonia. Os alunos as aguardam com ansiedade para que possam colocar em prática
as suas estratégias. Na semana que passou os VOLUNTÁRIOS do xadrez, aqueles
alunos que ensinam as técnicas do jogo para as turmas que estudam no período da
tarde, passaram a usar uma camiseta especial. E eles fazem uma pergunta
simples: “Sou voluntário do Projeto Xadrez! E você?” Segundo definição das Nações Unidas, "o voluntário é
o jovem ou o adulto que, devido a seu interesse pessoal e ao seu espírito
cívico, dedica parte do seu tempo, sem remuneração alguma, a diversas formas de
atividades, organizadas ou não, de bem estar social, ou outros campos..."

Students anxiously await to put into practice their strategies. Last week
VOLUNTEERS CHESS, those who teach students the techniques of the game for the
courses they study in the afternoon, began to wear a special t-shirt. And on it
they ask a simple question: "I am volunteer Chess Project! And you?
"According to UN definition," the volunteer's or young adult who,
because of his personal interest and his public spirit, devoted most of his
time, without any compensation, the various forms of activities, organized or
not, social welfare, or other fields ... "Think about it, and be a
VOLUNTEER in your school or your city! Look around and see what you can do!
